Problems Using The Site
Q1. Why am I asked to select a shipping address again during checkout?
By default the store will try to use the address you entered when you created your account. If the address is not showing both a country (e.g. United Kingdom) AND a region (e.g. Lincolnshire) the checkout process cannot calculate the correct shipping cost.
Please check your address in Account | Modify Your Address Book Entries. If it looks like this:

a) Re-select the country from the drop down list. You should then see this:

b) Select your correct county/region from the Region/State drop-down list.
c) Save your changes by clicking 'Continue'. Shipping should now work correctly.
Q2. Why can't I select a Region/State when I create an account?
This is closely related to Q1. Say "thank you" to Internet Explorer! When a user first creates an account this is what he/she should see:

However, if a particular default setting has been changed in Internet Explorer and the user has previously visited UKTarps without creating an account, the user may see this:

If he/she lives in the UK, naturally it is assumed that is correct and there is only the Region left to choose. But clicking on the Region/State list doesn't show any further choices! The solution is to re-select the Country from the drop-down list first, then a list of regions / states will become available.
For interested readers, the offending setting in Internet Explorer is in Tools | Internet Options | General. Click the settings button for Browsing History (IE7) or Temporary Internet Files (IE6). Ensure that 'Automatically' is selected for 'Check for newer versions of stored pages'. Save your changes by clicking 'OK'.
'Automatically' is the default setting of IE but if it has been changed then the problem above may be experienced. A setting other than the default may also cause strange behaviour on other websites.
